Ode to my Father
I knew my father; only when my sons were born,
How among trials, toils, and tears, he was torn;
His sleepless nights o’er my sickness plights,
The chiding of my childishness, and how
He troubled himself to toughen me now,
Strict and vigilant to make me relevant,
Taught me how to tame my fears,
And take care of my needy neighbours,
For the love of the Father flows from above,
And through my father it showers on me now!
Thank you father for all the love.
